Let me tell you about my dreams
As I'm waking from this slumber
It was something really strange
If only I could remember
Wait a minute now, it's all coming back to me

There was a furry alligator puppy

And it came toward me with its big sharp claws
And I wasn't sure that I should touch it
But I petted it and it wagged its little furry alligator puppy tail
And that's what I dreamt about this morning

I was flying like I was swimming
Flying like I was swimming
Flying through the air but low to the ground
I was moving my arms like the breast stroke
And I couldn't seem to get much higher no matter how I tried
And that's what I dreamt about this morning
Flying through the air like water

And I tried it out on door after door
But none of the doors would open
And finally I came to a door perched at the top of a ladder
I turned the key and walked right through
And was sitting at my kitchen table
With a bowl of breakfast Os in front of me
And some Os had gotten on my nose and feet
And that's what I dreamt about this morning
