and yeah i get it
you are sad and you want to feel better
but talking shit is supposed to put a smile on your face
and leave another scarred
it could be over social media
Each of us deserves the freedom to pursue our own version of happiness.
No one deserves to be bullied.
i once knew this kid
he was crying
full flung tears
i didn't know what to do
i stood at the bus stop across from him waiting for my bus in the morning
i had to go over
things were going through my brain
bad thoughts
i go over to him and ask him if he is okay
he isn't okay
i knew this, i just didn't know what to say
i ask him why he was crying
it was because his mum made him go to school today
i giggled. i fucking stood there a giggled to myself
i didn't laugh at him. just silently giggled.
regret doing that now.
i ask him why he didn't want to go to school
and my smile just dropped
he said because of bullies
he is sitting at the bus stop crying
because he doesn't want to go to fucking school
because there are people out there that feel good
about making others feel guilty, angry, sad
emotions that they no longer need to feel because
the bullies block out the sun
and i can tell everyone reading right now
the sun will shine again.
the sun will shine on you, again.
just push through and it will be alright
i got this kids phone number,
let him get on his bus and we talked on the way to school
he didn't go to my school
found out that he was only in grade 3, mother and father had split
abusive mother won't let him see his dad
the next day, i called him up
he wasn't replying to my texts,
wasn't answering my snaps
didn't even open them
so i called him in hopes for an answer
he picked up, well i thought it was him
it was his mother.
she was in tears
i couldn't hear her speak very well because she was sobbing over his phone
but i could hear enough to know what she was trying to say.
the boy had killed himself
i froze. teared up.
i didn't know this kid very well.
but like fuck. he was in grade 3.
this boy was 9 years old and he had committed suicide
that where this generation is going if we don't stop this shit
it needs to fucking stop
i need to take a step back
you can tell i'm pretty mad about this.
swearing a lot yeah?
it's either you are too fat or too skinny
it's either you are too big or too flat
it's either you are dumb or a 'nerd'
it's either you are bogan or a suckup
it's stupid is what it is
can't someone walk around with a smile on there face without getting harrassed

anybody read that book WONDER
ther are plenty of fake people in that book
recently was turned into a movie
can tell the actors are fake kids as well
in order to be 'cool' at school you have to be something you are not
and as much as i want to say "fake fuck"
some people are clinging off the 'cool' people for survival
now here is a definition
'Fake people are people who will act like your friend but the truth is that
they are back stabbers they will talk behind your back and say
the rudest things about you. Yet when they see you they act like your best friend'
almost sums it up pretty well yes?
here is another one
'A fake person is someone who is not genuine and will do whatever
it takes to make themselves look good. They will take credit for other's work
or down play the good of others to illuminate oneself'
now i'm not gonna get too deep with fake people
but i will say this, don't change for others standards
if someone isn't your preference, there will
be someone out that that suits your preference
so find them, don't change, be you
