Broken Down Without Walls

This darkness, it surrounds me,
And I can't get away from it all,
This pain, it holds onto me,
Away from it I want to fall.

But You are there, reaching out,
And You're calling, "Take my hand"
So I surrender, and reach back,
You're the One who understands.

So Lord, here I am, broken down without walls,
And I can't seem to see through the tears.
Before you, oh Lord, I fall,
At your feet I cast my sorrows and my fears.
Please wipe away the pain that's inside of my heart,
Keep me together and don't let me fall apart,
Save me oh Lord from this world and its madness.

See these chains, those that bind me,
From them I can't break free
When the enemy surrounds me,
I cry to You, You rescue me!
When my anger and fears hold me back,
I let it go and You save me,
When I struggle, You help me live by faith,
You calm emotions when they reel.

I come before You, kneel before You,
I plead Your blood, I see Your love,
I need Your mercy and Your grace.
I worship You, I praise you always,
I Thank You Lord for helping me through.
Where I can find you, and abide with You,
And feel your presence surround me.
