Desperate Love

Memories is all I have of him,
touching me,holding me in his arms,
saying the words I need to hear.
As I sleep at night I can feel only
the cold chill within my body,
to know that his body is not touching
mines but beneath an blanket which is not mines..
How can love be so cruel ?
to love a man who cannot love you.
I cry myself to sleep at night,
wishing his hands could be touching my breast,
my body,whispering in my ears
saying the the words I desperate need to hear...
for only memories I have but not his love
