I remember growing up as a kid
Me and my brother would take a bath
Washing up after playing in them stick cause little much we never had
I remember how he would turn on that hot water
To get that bath refresh
I said "Ooo Dear lord don't tun on that hot water"
Cause hot water was the last thing we needed from mom and dad
They where Just a young couple trying to survive
Working two jobs a piece
Staying alive done the best they could
To us it was so simple back then
But, man
I loved to run my brother a bath

12 years past
lived o'er lives, close like the dukes
we decided to join the army together
and not just to have the story of o'er lives
what came out in the end,...
right befor my eyes,...
I saw him die..
Stayed and served
got home to my wife
Built my house and raised up a family got all that i need
in life
but man...
How i wish i could
run my brother a bath

flash back,
seems the blast took me out
brothers still dead,
and all them other things aint around
i made it home wounded just to see how much my life has changed
same folks and x gals,
now act like they don't want to speak my name
look at this man
here i am
died alone, found in home dead due to late rent
the land lord couldn't believe the smell
as the coroner took me off
they lafed and said
"Man,... Run my brother a bath"
