So Near, So Far

I'll make this last decision
And this will seal my fate
I arrive at the conclusion
I must escape this mortal state
This situation must be resolved
My soul it must find peace
We cannot always satisfy
The goals within our reach

I can no longer hide

A jagged, shadowed landscape
Embossed with jewelled, city glow
And now the time, it has arrived
For me to make a stand
